Pastor Marla felt a call of God to preach at a very young age. It wasn't until she was 21 that the call became so strong that she said yes to the ministry. She has served as an associate pastor for ten years, evangelized, taught Sunday School, and led praise and worship with her musician husband Roger Moore. She also served as youth pastor for nine years before answering the call to senior pastor in 1999. God blessed and along side her husband took the church from a four room house to a beautiful facility. After serving for six years God once again called her to a mountainous town to a church in a farmhouse. With God's provision the church was relocated into a beautiful church which included a parsonage. After serving there for seven years she felt the call to come back to her home church in 2013 where she presently serves as senior pastor. Pastor Marla is an ordained minister in the Assembly Of God and studied Early Childhood Education at Patrick Henry College. God has blessed her and her husband Roger with two lovely daughters,three grandchildren,and two great grandchildren.
